Interesting, because I’ve noticed my meds are less effective since my local pharmacy started having routine prescriptions filled remotely and shipped to them. Wonder if it’s a a temperature in transit issue

There isn’t a thing here I don’t agree with. Which affirms that this is the right place for me.

It’s funny to see how Republicans have been “we don’t condone violence” and “this is unacceptable”.

Go look at their reactions to the attack on Paul Pelosi. You know, the celebrations, the “Democrats had it coming”. Funny how things change

I mean, it would ensure there are no more classified documents there

It’s hilarious to me that 40 years ago this person would have been solidly Republican. Now he’s a “moderate Democrat”. This term now means “conservative that doesn’t like Trump saying the quiet part out loud”

Jeebus, I’m a teacher and I’m held to higher impartiality standards than SCOTUS seems to be.

I really wish we wouldn’t treat fast food as work that should be at the bottom of the pay scale. If you’ve ever worked fast food, you know that it’s hard work. Like ok, Steve, you think it’s easy? You’re now running the burger station through a lunch rush. Oh, and a bus just pulled in.

People need to understand a few things, which seem to need to be repeated every time the US media chooses to cover something Hamas did, while failing to cover the atrocities carried out against Palestinians by the Israeli state.

1: you can be pro-Palestinian without being pro-Hamas

2: you can be anti-Israel without being antisemitic

How about flooding a meta thread that’s not on their own instance to insult people who disagree with them?

Part of the drama with that incident included hexbear folks straight up saying “I thought the whole point of federating with other instances was so that we could dunk on liberals”. Majority of folks on hexbear did not see any issues with the behavior of their members on this post.

Better headline: the richest 1% of Americans have more combined wealth than the bottom 90% of Americans.

I’m a teacher. This is very false. The issue is that being taught in schools and being learned in schools are completely different things. Between No Child Left Behind and IDEA, schools are being incentivized to graduate students regardless of the learning done in the school.

I know for a fact that these skills are taught in 6-8th grade social studies classes, as well as digital literacy classes. Hell, I teach 2 classes that are entirely based around critical thinking.
