I use PurpleTV and it's been great. It's a Twitch fork modified to block ads, reduce bloat, and include customisation for chat, player and other components.

Don't know if we can share links here but the APK can be easily found online, still being updated semi-regularly. I won't come back to the official app as long as I'm able. :)

I just said goodbye to it today. I realised there's a bigger, unselfish choice to be made in the scheme of it all

We're on S6E12 right now, will I still love House MD as much as I do now by the end of the show?

The last time I remember children being invited to a high-intensity workplace ended up with them fatally crashing an airplane with 75 people on board.

Oh god, TVTropes is like fucking crack cocaine for my brain, I'm like a wet sponge after those endless rabbitholes. I have had the most difficult time explaining to others what it's about, but I'm quite content for it to be my own little getaway.

Tacking on my unsolicited two cents - I gave Origins a very, very fair go (added an easy 30 hours to my playtime and even completed some challenge paths for my sense of accomplishment), and while it does try to emulate the success of its prequels, ultimately it falls short of its predecessor.

Arkham City is a perfect balance of all the elements introduced during the series; it doesn't feel incomplete (although Asylum works great as an entry point) yet it's not an overbloated mess like Knight. Its story also feels more emotionally involved and the plethora of characters is incorporated well.

Until very recently, I thought that the whole track was an original production. Turns out Gotye is something of a sampling genius - mad respect for the craft in STIUtK, and what a killer set of melodies on top of everything else.

I've been realising more and more that I need music, or certain types of music to push through something I need to do. Working in silence (with undiagnosed ADHD/whatever's happening up there) leaves too much room for boredom, so I suppose the music acts as a stimulus to keep going.

When I have to do something as menial as chores or housework, I put on headphones and crank a mix of tracks from the Tekken games. Nothing like blasting Tag 1's rousing, electro-rock-D&B intro to start washing the fat stack of dishes from last week. 😁

I've got one that's a gem and hasn't been mentioned yet, for once!

Upgrade (2018)

A guy and his wife are attacked, his wife is murdered and he just barely survives. With the help of a super-chip implanted into his body by a billionaire, he sets out to get revenge. But at what cost?

A stylish, savage techno-action film, basically John Wick but with AI chip. The ending is rightly haunting. Well worth watching!

Definitely Grim Fandango. First game to make me laugh out loud, personally it's clever and witty, and I love it to bits.
