Hey all, I hope you will forgive me this small bit of self-promo.
I got my start with gamedev while in college ~5 years ago, just messing around with friends. Taught myself with tutorials from the community, youtube, etc. Eventually, I started my own youtube channel where I started covering different things in Unreal with a focus on speed and wit. Supported myself with freelancing during this time - until I lucked out with this game idea.
... then 2 years disappeared in the blink of an eye and when I came to, a friend of mine and I had made this with the help of my co-developer Mike!
Stop Dead is out in early access right now, and we will be developing it into a full release over the coming months!

ooo how'd you get firefox to look like that, with the sharp tabs? Mine are all rounded

I had the same issue with Lemmy, so I use Kbin more these days because it seems to be better at getting interesting posts I haven't seen before. I'm sure the Lemmy devs will get to it though.

They're adding support to sign up to pixelfed with your mastodon account as well. Pretty neat.

Yes.

New rule I have adopted - going forward, any time I struggle to find good search results on something and find myself wanting to append "reddit" onto the query, I will instead be creating the thread on an applicable forum on a federated site. I recommend others do the same.

It may not give me the immediate answer I'm looking for, but with a bit of patience we can hopefully rebuild a library of knowledge in a more stable way, not vulnerable to the whims of corporate profit.

Really excited about Infinity for Everything! I used Infinity for Reddit and it was hands-down my favorite app. Looks like the Everything version is still pretty early. Will be watching it closely.
