The pronunciation of "nowhere girls" is homophonic

I had to carefully reread that...

This is the Overton Window, the window of acceptable topics for public discourse, and it's unrelated to testosterone (I know, surprising /s).

A misaligned Overton Window (like a slow response to an impending disaster) is hard to counteract because the experts dealing with the topic may lose their credibility by trying to push against the window.

But I have heard the theory that the evolutionary reason for autism may be to counteract this effect. A small amount of genuine vocal concern could encourage others to speak out and break the tension surrounding the topic.

This vocal concern is not however gonna come from the evershifting lies of the X and 4chan echo chambers.

We also "knew" a bunch of other theories at the time, like his twitter implied it was Epstein related (I think, whole thing was murky).

This is more or less confirming a singular theory. Looks like he just did it because he believed he could. Maybe for legacy or infamy or just general importance.

The irony is that the assassination attempt itself has basically become irrelevant. The Vance couch meme currently has a bigger impact than this.

The most immaculate well researched pickles ever seen.

But I'm getting bored, I should learn how to write, or maybe draw, or maybe dance.

No I got it, I'll shift my focus to an obscure Github program I'm using to test a weird thought I had!

I'll finish this burger later...

My ultimate hope is that Trump decoheres to the point of never having a future chance of winning but keeps running anyways, ultimately blocking the party as a whole. Karmic punishment for raising this guy to a seat of power in the first place.

I think in unsafe scenes it can be dangerous to try and argue against your gut instincts by assuming you're being stereotypical. This message is vital for women and other targeted groups, but can apply to anyone really.

If you're out at night, or in a club/bar/party, or out with strangers, or are without your phone/keys, ect; then you need to trust any sense of unsafety and be on high alert. If it's a false alarm due to a stereotype then you can interrogate your biases later. If someone gives you the creeps, you need to maneuver into a safe position before giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Our instincts are really good at detecting if something's off or dangerous, but really bad at communicating that to us consciously. So always go to a friend, or public location, or wait for another day, ect; before turning your back on someone with red flags, even if it's a stereotype.

Honestly Google Drive works great as free storage (Though for large storage there's no guarantee they won't accidentally delete it, it's happened before).

And Google Suite is good enough if you can't be bothered to get Microsoft Office. Though they're forcing AI into it and have some weird quirks like being unable to copypaste external text with rightclick.

My favorite fact about all this is that Spielberg insisted on the giant raptors during production. Around the same time the Utahraptor was first being studied, an actual giant raptor about the same size.

Less fun fact, it was gonna be name Utahraptor Spielbergi but it was changed last minute because Universal was suing museums over the word Jurassic. Trademark trolls ruin everything.

Literally what uprooted my "rational" centrist opinions on everything.

The timetable quote just hit me and my sensibilities like a truck.

I just read the top part so I thought the worst thing to say was "We may earn commission from links on this page".

It's just the WW2 version of "You were so preoccupied on whether or not you could, you didn't stop to think if you should"

Now there's lots of debate on if nukes resulted in the unsteady peace we benefit from today, but fact of the matter is two cities that existed, stopped, existing.

Edit: I'm being a bit hyperbolic but the point still stands.
