Boy Boy has a video where they sneak into a military weapons convention.
One guy was selling crowd control armor and advertised the dissociation from your actions that armor like that creates, divorcing you from guilt.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure he gave an outlandish bid for Twitter to manipulate it's stock prices when he pulled put, but he was sued into following through.
I don't think he ever wanted to buy it, or at least he wanted to crash it's value to come back and buy it on the cheap.
It was, infact, not all good there.
God I want someone this competent in office so badly. I'm tired of bad politicians conning the system and "good" politicians just running things on autopilot. I want a leader that understands their government so badly.
This echoes what I've been feeling about Kamala's campaign too. I feel she'll be great at the job of presidency, but may have to rely on Walz to grease the wheels of congress to actually pass things.
People like Mr.Beast gain their massive success from producing overstimulating content that attracts a forever young audience that doesn't recognize the basic manipulation and scams that he employs.
This is what politics would turn into if we earnestly let kids vote. Manipulating child audiences is practically a science now.
Even discounting that, in 2016 when I was 16 I was a "both sides are bad" centrist type. I simply didn't have the roots to consider how things like basic public policies would affect me personally. You need some grounded experience in order to realize that the things on screen will affect you and your community directly.
Looks at the United States government as a citizen
I'll take my chances.
I believe proper gun safety teaches people to treat every gun as loaded and safety off. Same reason it's extremely unsafe to point a supposedly empty gun at someone.
I'm a bit annoyed at all the people being pedantic about the term hallucinate.
Programmers use preexisting concepts as allegory for computer concepts all the time.
Your file isn't really a file, your desktop isn't a desk, your recycling bin isn't a recycling bin.
[Insert the entirety of Object Oriented Programming here]
Neural networks aren't really neurons, genetic algorithms isn't really genetics, and the LLM isn't really hallucinating.
But it easily conveys what the bug is. It only personifies the LLM because the English language almost always personifies the subject. The moment you apply a verb on an object you imply it performed an action, unless you limit yourself to esoteric words/acronyms or you use several words to overexplain everytime.
Honestly the Trolley Problem is a perfect representation of this issue. All leftists in America are being asked to either personally hold a part in a genocide, or to personally abstain and allow greater horrors to be unleashed (including the genocide).
Remember when Microsoft made the bold claim that Windows 10 would be the last OS and reassured us it would just be updated perpetually?
Like, no one believed them, but to stop supporting Windows 10 after a bold claim like that is just insulting.
Honestly, I think capitalism wouldn't be so bad if it was limited to what it's good at. Fashion, tech, entertainment, snacks, ect.
But essential food, housing, water, healthcare, even electricity and internet access, the idea that these things that will always have infinite demand is haphazardly controlled through profit motive is disgusting.
Infrastructures should be government controlled and free. Essential resources should have some sort of universal basic "food stamps" system. Then actual money just becomes the luxury "fun bucks" that you don't lose out on if you don't have a lot. For example pet owners would be given a credits for pet food and free vet care, but a silly pet costume would use money.
Disclaimer: This is just a personal idea I've been mulling over, I'm sure there's a million holes in it.
Arguably not natural since it relies on plastic or petroleum to make.
