Oh man, if only someone would create a script that automates filling it out.

Also include a table of all the assholes.

Vibe coders, where you at?

Daisy, once a healthy and energetic child, got sick about a month ago. She came down with a fever, sore throat, and eventually pneumonia.

The family tried to treat their daughter at home with cod liver oil, popular in the community for helping to 'strengthen the immune system'.

But when that failed, they took her to the hospital.

Hold on. So let me get this straight.

  1. Little girl is sick.
  2. Cod liver oil didn't work.
  3. Took her to the hospital.
  4. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

And this guy blames the Hospital?

Wow. You might as blame God, Mickey Mouse, and Tiktok dancers who also failed to keep her alive as well.

This isn't at all surreal to me. We saw this during the Trump Presidency #1. Just a toxic PoS with an insufferable staff spewing hostility.

And what did Biden do? Business as fucking usual. Taking the higher ground BS.

If 2028 is a fair election, and a hypothetical Democrat gets elected, I'm expecting more of the same. If Trump gets his 3rd term as he freaking demanded that happened, well -- we continue to move the goalpost of rock bottom looks like.

Yep.

NPR operates independently of the U.S. government. And while federal money is important to the overall public media system, NPR gets less than 1% of its annual budget, on average, from federal sources.

Goodreads is like Yelp for books.

Find a book written by a right wing author. Hundreds of ratings, and the reviews don't even talk about the book beyond the description. Lots of pesudo-science and bad faith arguments.

I got scammed by a few books. And worse, call out the issues with the books and your review gets shadow banned. Amazon doesn't have a urgency to remove these fake reviews because it'll affect sales.

Not just the Chinese. But Obama. And a side of DEI and woke.

Good on you! Usenet has been around for DECADES.

I don't have a guide that's modern. I'm just remembering how I used to connect in the 90s-2000s.

Ive already been on edge for the past 30 years with how American products aren't allowed directly in other countries because the EU bans certain chemicals.

And post-DOGE, I'm absolutely mortified.

When I was a teen, I believed in that too. The most strict parents had the most wild kids.

As an adult, it's now verified.

I work downtown. I personally take the bus to work and walk.

While getting feedback from our paid intern's experience, one complained about having to pay for parking.

Because I naturally always support the interns, I pushed for that perk. Why shouldn't they get all the help they need? They're young, they have a busy life and they're trying their best.

But my coworker (who drives) said, "Theres street parking and they are complaining they have to walk 14 minutes over."

Now my internal "Fuck Cars" position is battling with my "Give the Interns everything".

I'm not the deciding factor. Just wanted to share this.
