Last week's Tuesday I committed to the bit and actually did the Dutch HAM/Amateur radio Novice exam I wanted to do in 2025. I didn't have too much time then, but now I was able to pass in ~10 minutes of the exam thanks to weeks and months of prior study and experience. And I got the callsign PD5CVD registered for myself at the Dutch Inspection for Digital Infrastructure (basically for (amateur) radio, this is our equivalent to the US FCC and British Ofcom for instance).

About 4 months ago I decided to make this website for myself. I use this to share my opinions, creations and a little about myself! I really LOVE the technical and creative sides of making a website, and I also used to have a WordPress site no one saw. I took most content from there to my new website, and also continue to add new things to it as the time comes...

First, over the last weeks, we had an internal discussion on whether or not to come out on Reddit, and ended up with a majority in favour.

We are an endogenic system and have been since the body we belong to was born. We maintain a collective identity separate from our internal identities but each one of us is still a full person internally. Our body is 21 years old at the time of writing and AMAB. Our collective identity has the following characteristics:

• Gender: bigender (non-binary)

• Mental/intra age: ~13-15

• Country of origin: Netherlands/Peru

• Pronouns: they/them

• Current study: Bachelor of Data Science (NL)

• Current side job: Supermarket/grocery store inventory keeper

We have way too many hobbies to count in a non-dedicated post, however we can say that we love creativity, technology, travel and togetherness!

In total we have 9 members at the time of writing, the last to join having done so a couple months ago. Here are the names, ages, identities and roles of some of us:

Luka: 29yo trans-female human, gatherer and manager internally, does not have any specific task when fronting;

Timo: 8yo bigender human, internal judge, cook or musician when fronting;

Tes: 55yo robot, internal headspace mapper and gathermate, hygienic or housekeeper when fronting;

Mita: 3yo female octopus, archaeological collector, mentor and councilwoman internally, negotiator when fronting;

Nero: 16yo non-binary human, internal decision helper, reader when fronting.

It feels like these help the body and the collective identity more than they hurt, but we might still need help from others in managing our system.

Als er een nieuwsbericht komt op Reddit en ik kijk in de comments, dan zie ik veel comments die de schuld van het probleem (geweld, huizencrisis) geven aan migranten of asielzoekers. Ik probeer dat op de een of andere manier te ontkrachten en die ontkrachting krijgt, hoe waar hij ook is (bijvoorbeeld iets over de huizencrisis waaraan migranten grote invloed hebben vs mijn ontkrachting over huisjesmelkers en speculanten die alles kopen), vaak minimaal 2 downvotes. Terwijl hetgeen wat ik probeerde te ontkrachten veel te veel ups krijgt voor mijn gevoel. Is Reddit (Nederlandstalig) naar rechts geschoven of wat is er nou aan de hand daarzo?

EDIT: Alles met meer dan 3 downvotes (dus -2 of nog erger) gooi ik weg om mijn Reddit karma te beschermen.

Een deel van deze vraag is de titel: Stel je voor dat je een politieke partij zou beginnen, noem een (paar) ding(en) dat/die je zou beloven?

Eerst wat context en mijn partijpunt:

De Nederlandse regering ligt in puin. Kabinet Schoof-I had het niet een jaar volgehouden en er komen eind augustus nieuwe verkiezingen. De wereld is in crisis: huizentekort, inflatie, oorlog, genocide in Gaza, vereenzaming, polarisatie. Ondertussen verdienen de rijkste CEO’s van Nederland meerdere malen de Balkenendenorm terwijl bedrijven werken aan wetgeving die alleen hen bevoordeelt, niet het hele Nederlandse volk.

Nu begin ik: Als ik een politieke partij zou beginnen, zou ik onder andere beloven: straten, parken en dergelijke toegankelijker en dichter bij huis; meer investeringen in openbaar vervoer; een leefbaar basisinkomen, eerlijkere belastingen, en meer algemeen beleid dat uitgaat van de doelen duurzaamheid, vrede, gelijkwaardigheid en gezelligheid.
