Implementation of key structural reforms remains crucial

Western ghoul institutions (IMF, World Bank, European Central bank, etc) stress neoliberal institutional reforms, privatization, and fiscal austerity to every non-Western country at every junction no matter what the circumstances are. Even nominal western allies such as Mexico, Korea, and Greece gets targeted.

It's insane that they're still repeating these words to the most economically successful country as if they'll listen.

It was just a cute factoid that I noted, so I didn't look further into the claims.

Your theory could be correct. Another reason I suspect is that due to racial biases and different job market situation arising from the urban/rural divide, black Americans are forced to be more literate in order to survive compared to the average white American.

Your assessment is probably closer to the truth. 54% of American adults have a literacy below sixth grade level link and some of the people you've met probably are considered barely literate yet counts towards the 79%.

A curious statistic I've found while reading up on this is that 77% of African Americans have moderate or high reading proficiency while only 65% of white Americans qualify as such. A statistic that you'll never see racists mention (and libs for those that somehow fit outside the venn diagram)

Communists don't have a monopoly on good deeds. We are trying to make a systematic change while they are looking to make a difference on a individual level.

Volunteer with them and help out. People who are kind are more receptive towards our ideals in my experience, and not everyone has to be part of the vanguard.

I agree with your material analysis of the situation, but not of the solution.

Petitioning and protesting against western governments have been shown to be ineffective time and time again. It's a waste of time and effort. The realistic conclusion to the dragged out war comes after a decade or so when a power broker (probably China) gets them to agree to a ceasefire as it was the case in Yemen.

I'm not trying to be defeatist, but there is nothing that comrades can do to affect the outcome of the situation in my assessment.

Existentialism is a reaction towards materialist reality from an idealist perspective.
