For anyone wondering why it is like that: I’ve read that movies nowadays are the same on disc and streaming service as they are in the theaters, meaning the voices are sitting on the central speaker. I’ve hat this a long time too and after I read that fact I went and bought a soundbar with center speaker and that solved this issue for me.
Heute IHK schriftliche Prüfung zum Ausbilder. 3h multiple choice am PC. Werde mich gleich auf machen und die Stunde Fahrt nochmal nen Podcast dazu hören, welcher mir alle 4 Handlungsfelder nochmal runterrattert. Irgendwie fühle ich mich ready aber auch unsicher zugleich, ist das eine Art Quantenzustand? Kann mal wer Schrolödinger kontaktieren?

The thing for me is that there are too many (essentially all) news portals, who are doing this individually which brings the reader into the conflict of "what should I pay for?". Hands down, I'm not consuming one news paper and that's it. In Germany here, I've got about 5 which immediately come to my mind and then some more internationally. Every portal wants 3-5 euro/dollar/whatever from me per month, which is not manageable.
What we need - in my opinion - is the possibility for a specific subscription bundle. I'd be happy to pay for my news for a manageable amount and payment. Let it be 15 euro per month for x free to chose papers and I won't even think twice, because yes! These guys need to be paid too and I'd love to give them their deserved payment.
But this situation we've got here? All over the world? No wonder, online archives are thriving.

In Germany we had a joghurt back in the 90s called "Frufo" (a portmanteau of Frucht (fruit) and UFO), which was basically just a strawberry joghurt in a flat, round package with a hole in the middle for a small toy. They even released pralines, which were filled with the same joghurt and were pure delish, especially cold out of the fridge on a hot summer day.
Everywhere I go, people my age miss that. It just needs the question "Hey, remember Frufo?" to send them to memory lane :)

Like my office. We got new thinclients and someone who doesn't know how the rest works decided that these clients have to lock the user out after one minute of inactivity.
Since I very often read articles or forum posts or are in remote sessions to get shown by a user what kind of issue they encounter, I constantly get booted out. I tried caffeine and it doesn't work. So now I constantly have to tab ctrl.. It's very helpful when I'm reading...
Man kann hier getrost auch mehr als zwei Sätze schreiben, von denen einer quasi "Google doch einfach selbst" ist. Magst du bitte deine Aussage anständig ausführen?
Schön gesagt, sehe ich genau so. Das Fediverse fühlt sich wieder ein Stück weit wie das alte Internet in den 00ern an, als all die ganzen heutigen Problemkinder angefangen haben. Ich bin gespannt, was noch alles anfängt federated zu laufen.
