He's abusing the law, it's obviously not designed for a 30 plus year old to have a relationship with a 16 year old.

While it's not "technically" underage rape, let's be honest it basically is. No normal person thinks it's acceptable for some in there 30s to have a relationship with a 16 year old.

The law is there to protect say an 18 year old in collage, where it's common for 16-18 year olds to be in the same classes, not for creepy 30+ year olds.

I'm going to be honest, I can't stand this trend of trying to neutralise everything. I grew up in the 90s/00s so I get this might be a generational difference but to me people being more open about themselves is an amazing thing and I'd hate to see it disappear. I don't really see what's wrong with accepting people are different and embracing it, rather than fruitlessly making everything in life a shade of grey.

Personally I actually view it as being kind of offensive, if I'm honest. Terms like "people of colour" to me come across as people minimising the vast and interesting differences in culture and customs that such a broad term covers.

Well yeah it's been shit for a while now, it was in a terrible state before the pandemic but it was at least somewhat enjoyable to load up every so often. This past year it's become basically unplayable, even the addicted whales have been dropping it in droves.

I've been boycotting the game since the remote raid price increases but caved for a few hours during Go Fest (without the ticket) I couldn't believe how bad it's actually gotten.

I live in a city and the spawn rate even during Go Fest is now attroucious, a handful of Pokémon every half a mile, it used to have 100s of spawns. The city centre now is almost as bad as the little remote village I lived in when the game first came out.

No one was raiding locally either, there was never a raid scene here but you could atleast do some during Go Fest in previous years.

The Gyms were full of people who'd been in them for well over two weeks at zero health, right in the centre of the city, last year they changed hands really regularly, even though our scene was relatively small. The two gyms at the top of the road where I live had people in them for over a month, all low level players when it used to be a us long term players who'd take them from each other. They used to change hands multiple times a day as there on a busy high street, so I could always get my coin's, now I couldn't even farm for the ridiculously priced remotes even if I wanted to.

It's way worse than it was even a year ago.

It's because Niantic have actively made the game far worse in the past year, after a few quite decent years through the pandemic. Them using ai to generate the latest artwork just epitomises how ridiculously lazy they've gotten. The artwork on the loading screens was one of the few examples of legitimately good work they ever produce, so now they don't even have that.

I don't think anyone actually cares that it's ai, but it is classic Niantic to just slap together ai artwork and make no attempt to hide it.

It just pops up randomly. Went to go make a coffee and when I came back there it was. I'm in the UK so it's not just happening to US people.

YouTube is absolutely dreadful for it. I have literally zero interest in American politics, I'm interested in world events but frankly couldn't care less about another country's domestic politics yet it's pushed almost every time I load the site.

I mostly watch things like travel vlogs and trip reports, yet get endless spam about right wing American politics. There's nothing in my search history that would suggest I'd care about it.

I mean his genius solution to the steering wheel being on the wrong side for UK Tesla's was to give owners a big stick. I think it's safe to say he's not a genius.

When I was at school the uniform was just a basic pull over jumper, polo shirt and skirt/trousers. They were pretty effective at getting you caught if you decided to bunk off, like I did during PE and RE.

The uniform kids have to wear these days, which is basically a full on suit looks so uncomfortable, especially in the summer.

I run an online business and the vast majority of people who contact me daily ask a question that is literally answered in the first sentence of the description.

You know full well that they can't have surgery until 18, you're just spreading deliberate misinformation. It's pathetically transparent that you are just straight up lying.

The problem is people will still just use Etsy rather than going direct to the business, even if going direct is significantly cheaper, because it's easier.

You see it with fast food deliveries as well. People would rather just order through just eat or deliveroo rather than ringing the place up and saving quite a decent amount on their order for both themselves and the local restaurant.

Unfortunately people just want convenience these days.
