I mean yeah, a new barrel by itself is more than the parts kit typically. Only downside is finding 9x18 makarov, but if you got it with the kit, you could buy a .380 barrel later and have 2 calibers. It's an easy barrel swap, like a handgun.

I got the bowman kit but I am not sure how that one compares.

PM63 RAK Prototype (forum.guncadindex.com)

Progress on a prototype 63 RAK. Uses SCS rails and barrel locking lugs, all test fits good so far.

I can get those later but the cuts weren't bad at all just require some dremel work.

Numrich has good kits if you plan to reweld later, but bowman has good kits with barrel included.

As far as frames go, ATRH, my remix and there is an AR trigger version I can't remember who makes it though.

Not really a handgun but skorpion vz61 parts kits are cheap and plentiful and they are super easy builds. One of my favorite guns to this day.

I really think it will work.

Honestly I'd just buy one now, cuts on my kit from bowman were really good so it would be an easy re weld either way better to have the kit now.

Currently in the testing phase, I may be insane but it might just work. Having the concept for metal plates to be inserted into the frame for the recoil lugs, just finished up the geometry from where Atomic Arms left off.
