So pleased I dumped Windows and moved to Linux recently.

Everyone should look into dumping "big tech" and move away from Microsoft, Apple and Google. It's great. And the best part of it, no AI in sight.

True, fuck Windows. Those two are at the more extreme end of performance gains. Most games I'm gaining 5 - 10fps. But I can now play all games (so far) at 1080p.

It can be. Sea of Thieves for example ran at about 30fps on low settings at 720p on Windows on the Ally.

On Bazzite it's 60fos on medium at 1080p. I got similar gains with Forza Horizon 5.

Thanks, I'll try these.

I had it running at a pretty stable 60fps on Windows at 720p. I was hoping for a bit more out of Bazzite.

According to Steam Cyberpunk is a Steam Deck verified game so I expected it to work on Bazzite on an Ally.

Unfortunately it opens the CDPR launcher and when I click Play it just goes back to Steam.

Are there some settings I need to change?

I switched from iOS to Android after being in Apple's walled garden since the 5s. Initially installed grapheneOS but a couple of apps I need simply refused to work as they thought the phone was rooted.

So I switched to CalyxOS and dumped all of Apples services and all my apps work fine. With Aurora you don't even need a Google account to download from the Play Store.

I've been so impressed with CalyxOS I picked up a Pixel Tablet to replace my M2 iPad Pro too.

Now I'm waiting to replace the cheap Pixel 6 I bought with the 10 Pro XL.
