What peeves me is that the right are all clutching their pearls about anyone who says anything other than blind Trump sympathy. Don't get me wrong, political violence is wrong. But, remember this:

When Paul Pelosi got his face bashed in with a hammer, the right made fun of it. Mocked him. Idk, man.

I've heard conservatives say "Banana Republic" like 30 times since yesterday, and not once did they talk about fruit companies taking over the government of a South American country and influencing it. Literally, they're so stupid.

This "we're gonna remove Biden from the ballot" thing is the most elaborate masturbating contest between the GOP, man.

They really need to stop calling it a tip. It's a bid for service.

More people should try out Tubesync. It's a tool you can host yourself that essentially uses yt-dl as a backend and lets you subscribe to channels, and it'll download videos as they come out. Gets you away from the ads and you can archive content you like forever.

YSK about Thunder (github.com)

Thunder is an open Lemmy app for iOS and Android that is currently under development. You won't find it in any app store, so it's not as well known as Jerboa. Still, it's an excellent app.

The client is written in Flutter/Dart. If you have any development skills, lend a hand!

This doesn't have to do with the topic at hand, but it's just so cool being able to directly reference sites and ways to download on Lemmy, rather than dancing around the topic on Reddit.

Archive.is is useful, for sure. Another option that I have used for a long time is BypassPaywalls. It works on Firefox, as well as Chromium based browsers. https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome

They had some quality communites. Ah well, we can make them here with blackjack and hookers.

A lot of these people volunteered their spare time to manage communities for no pay. Wondering how far downhill a lot of these subs will go with Spez putting himself in charge of everything.

I also hope nobody is going to be editing their comment and saying "wow, this blew up."
