People were praising Mexico, saying "I wish this was the standard in the US"

Do they want 37 political deaths (and rising) every year? It sounds so sketchy. How can they be sure she was even the people's choice?

Yeah I got blocked out of the other post about this for even bringing this up. They said I was spreading misinformation and blocked me so I can't even respond with more sources or info.

Am I the only one who does not want this? Seems like another oldish movie people are riding the stripey coat tails of. Just another project for pure profit and the least amount of work. Maybe I'm jaded ha.

Really? That is kind of pleasing to hear to be honest. I only ever encountered echochamber comments any of the times I went on any political thread here, one sided anchoring and confirmation bias, so I stopped. I'm kind of happy to hear that there are multiple perspectives being discussed at all. Neat.

This is such an absurd "article". Picking out a couple of comments from the internet to literally brew conflict for clicks is not sound journalism.

You guys seem to love living in an echochamber. Lemmy really has become very unwelcoming to anyone centrally aligned or learning about the world.

Hey dude. That whole experience with the psychiatrist sounds wrong. Of course you have history. And that in no way qualifies or disqualifies you from getting a diagnosis. In saying that, I agree with db0 in that a diagnosis won't necessarily help. You can absolutely look up strategies and routines, tips ect on how to improve your experiences and try applying the ones you like and see how it goes. Psychiatrists might diagnose you and then want to put you on medication because that is their job and how they get paid. The cognitive behavior change work is usually done with a psychologist, in groups and in your own time. There's some great worksheets available online if you look around.

Can anyone tell me why the bottom rock is so smooth? I imagine people come and sit on it and touch them both frequently, and that they are two rocks from different places but they each look very dissimilar. I guess what I am really asking, is the bottom rock so smooth because of the big boy topping it?
