well if 4 hours is good enough then I guess a T410 will probably be fine. if you're buying local than $30 seems about reasonable. it's 14" and a bit heavy but not egregiously so. I don't know about the T420, I don't own one.

it's a limitation of the chipset, this laptop can only take 8gb of ram

It's a Lenovo Thinkpad E14G2, with a Ryzen 4 4700U and 8GB (soon to be 24GB) of RAM and a 1080P IPS screen. Currently running Arch as you can probably tell
