"A defeatist is someone who resigns themselves to failure without trying." I'm thinking mostly about people in my personal life. Specifically one who has done things like put entire vacations on credit cards. Then used the justification of "girl math" because the experience NOW is worth what they will pay in interest. Instead of waiting until its financially viable because they'll "never be able to afford it otherwise". I have other examples but I'll use that as my primary.
