It's a topic I find super interesting and Universal Healthcare is under attack by neoliberals and other right wing political actors about everywhere it's been enacted like my own country, France. So it is very interesting to learn about how it work in other places.

When you talk about insurance, do you mean a private health insurance that you pay for?
And are those 70% you mention at the end also from a private health insurance?

I got some hormone prescription change recently. Feels pretty good.

Got my legal name/gender marker change approved. Now I need to wait for papers before requesting changes to more papers but at least I'm making progress.
I didn't really get comfortable with it before changing. I only got used to it a while after changing.
Before and after, there were feelings of guilt, shame, and fear. And the imposter syndrome on top of that.
I would like to encourage you to try with your therapist and if you're privileged enough to have them, trusted friends. Those are helpful spaces to make you more comfortable.
