Seems nice so far. Wayland works better than in 12, but still has issues with nvidia drivers + KDE Plasma combo. Some software (Signal desktop, discord at least) have a really annoying flickering going on, and toggling Vsync on/off crashes any software that tries it. Swapped to X11 instead, and it works like a charm.
Sorry mate, not what I'm looking for.
I’d like my main recreational machine & distro to be low maintenance, I get to fix linux servers at work enough already, I don’t want to bring that home.
So which one of these pretty standard ingredients is the secret ingredient?
I did not know this exists! I will be using this at least weekly from now on. Thank you!
Got a non-spotify link? Love me some synthwave.
I did in the end end up painting it a nice blue colour with a rust protect metallic paint. First layer looked awful, second layer looked quite nice already, but I'm gonna add a third one today. The paint can recommended 3 layers for proper rust proof, so that's what I'm going by.
After some research, apparently my local auto store does sell a store brand rust removal gel. As a bonus, in my local language it's apparently called "Rust eater".
Not native English speaker, so I checked the dictionary first, and saw that vise is an accepted alternative spelling. Might not be that common apparently.
I'm mostly the kind of worldbuilder, who gets one cool but vague idea of something and then just randomly plug stuff into it until it makes sense. The latest was "What if there was a force that was rewriting reality while it's going on, and some people are immune to it for some reason?" and I ran with it. 150h later I have a full 12 scenario Call of Cthulhu campaign, but without Lovecraft stuff, all homebrew.
I am considering framing this comment. Never have I gotten such a compliment.
I mean, our friend group still uses IRC. Go back to the roots, discord is merely a fancy IRC anyway. Quakenet is still up and running, working as smoothly as ever! (So at least one netsplit* a day... :D)
Yes, barely. Kind of odd on FF on mobile, have to long press it, and it shows like the first 100 characters or so. But I did read the screenshot by zooming, so we cool.
Thank you for taking the time to write an alt text! Wife is an accessibility consultant/expert/researcher, who works mainly with vision impaired people, and she has made me realize how crucial it is. :)
