I obviously had to try this since I need to get up very early tomorrow morning. Now I am stuck because I am pretty sure I played it incorrectly, so just out of curiosity if anyone could verify the number of steps to get to the philosophy page by starting with this article - that would be great…
Very interesting video! I came across this topic in passing on a podcast where the host was talking about negative listener feedback when female hosts were on the mic specifically because listeners thought the vocal fry was annoying. The host pointed out as well that he had been doing it too though no complaints had come in about his voice. Kind of forgot about it until this video.
Personally I like the vocal fry. But I somehow always assumed my Finish colleagues were just being bored when talking to each other instead of them making use of their complete vocal range lol.
Usually for cases where insurance is not feasible because of increased risk of for example wild fires, the government steps in and an insurance pool is created to cover the costs of rebuilding and temporary relocation. But it happens only after insurance companies start to retreat more broadly. I assume they cannot stop paying out especially fire claims because the costs that need to be reimbursed are immediate and will be agreed to when the fire is being reported - which usually happens within hours. All in all it would be kind of dump of an insurer to refuse payout in a case like a fire. There either was a fire or there wasn’t. So not much room for push-back I would assume. But not a lawyer so I am just being hopeful here haha.
I visit the frontpage now and then. I am still not sure if it is just my imagination, but it feels like the quality of the content has significantly decreased. In addition, the highest comments have fewer likes then was the case before. But I am not good at remembering numbers so it could also be just my imagination.
What happened with the two last versions? Sorry, I read her book, but did not follow the doc. I was not aware there was controversy.
I have been trying to find that colour of lipstick for ages. So I guess I am not quite there yet, but it hopefully won’t take too long!
I did not manage to log in on mobile. Inlog screen is cutoff halfway and I somehow don’t receive a code. Probably my settings but there are some challenges for us not-so-tech-savvy folks. But I will try again!
Personally, I look more at the ingredients of the products than for which skin type they market to. Mainly because I have sensitive skin and I have learned the hard way that leaving out scent and perfume from the ingredients doesn’t necessarily make my skin like it. My skin can also be dehydrated, but very oily at times was also confusing. So for me hydration is key to tackle most of my issues. What helped me was a lot of trial and error. But to save time and money, I would definitely recommend the book “Let’s face it” by Rio Viera-Newton. It helped me understand the different basic ingredients and skin needs and how to recognise and tackle them.
Resonates with me, because at times I just wanted something to be light and to work without struggle or being difficult. To just cut me a break so to say. And then when it didn’t work it’s like realising that being a grown up sucks. That’s kind of depressing.
In general probably true, but in this specific case the recipe is just different. Belgian Andalouse is spicier and less sweet.

Visiting a school that you yourself are not a student at by accompanying someone who is a student at that school. I think the “together” was not necessary in the strict sense.
I exactly remember that feeling and I haven’t been a student for 15 years now lol It’s indeed a parallel universe experience.
