And they're only allowed to age 2 years during shooting.

Not to hate because we're still enjoying it, but does anyone else feel like the show generally fails to capture this kind of feeling from the comic? I feel like the comic does a great job of pointing out the sheer absurdity of so much human activity, while the show seems to be more of a generic sitcom with strangely-dictating aliens instead of humans.

Rudy has gained huge amounts in the shadows that we have not ever heard about. His accounts in Lichtenstein and the Caymans are probably pretty fat and happy these days, and not even RICO can touch that. I wouldn't count on this being anything other than more distraction.

Yes, streams of piss-soaked garbage content such as Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson. They and their fans are braindead morons that are driving the dumbing-down effect that they themselves want to complain about.

EDIT: Also given Levi's controversial opinions, which he readily claims he has lifted directly from aforementioned podcasters, we should probably be concerned as to what he considers "garbage."

Strong argument in favor of bringing back CRTs.

80 to 340 tons is a significant range. Sounds more like they're trying to build hype than they actually know.

It's about Oumuamua, a somewhat mysterious object that passed through the solar system very close to Earth, before seemingly changing direction of its own accord and accelerating back out of the solar system. One of the many recent possibly-alien events that have people excited lately. Scientific theory is that it was a long, thin asteroid, similar to a turd, that expelled gases once it was close enough to the sun that propelled it away. Our sensor data indicated Oumuamua was incredibly dense and rich in heavy metals, more than we could reasonably even detect, so it had scientists intrigued.

Start by regularly assuming that a 95% chance has a near 0% likelihood.

Then, allow yourself to become reliant on soldiers that you spend a huge amount of time training and equipping, and then accept them being insta'd during some random mission which softlocks you from progressing in the game because now all you have are recruits with garbage gear who get eaten alive in seconds.

Lastly, discover a desire to punch Sid Meier in the face.

That was my experience with XCOM, at least.

As long as it's free to the public, I'm here for it. They're a government agency, if they try to make this a paid subscription, we need to revolt immediately.

Stargate yes, Star Trek no.

This was made back before Jared was found out, when the Taco Bell dog was still alive. Luckily those were unrelated.

I browse on desktop, therefore at this point in time, I use kbin. All other UIs I've found in the fediverse are pretty bad by comparison. Way too much garbage on the screen on most of them, and lemmy.world has an auto-updating scroll that you can't disable that I suspect is also a memory leak.
