That pallet is great for portraits, not so great for landscapes.

Do you personally have a preference on what paint you use? I'm assuming it's acrylic? Have you found that some brands work better than others?

Beautiful specimen. I've never had the chance to see one in person.

What instance are you on?

[-] Peacecraft535@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Hey, lurking is always an option, but even if you don't make your own dice, you're always welcome to post your favorite set (even if it's a set you bought). I legit just love dice and seeing what dice others prefer.

Your link just completely closes my app, not sure what's up with that.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I'm also pretty new to all this, so there's a bit of a learning curve. I don't know how to connect it to your instance, if you figure it out, i would also love to know.

For the links, i just followed the guide that's pinned to the top of 'New Communities', but apparently i messed up somehow.

This is Bear. Bear was a stray when I moved into this neighborhood a little over a year ago; six months ago, he somehow snuck past me as I was coming inside and basically moved himself in. I've had several cats throughout my life, but never one who adopted me. He is now a fat and happy boy, and you'd never guess he spent the first two years of his life living in the streets (besides maybe his uncanny ability to open a pizza box in a matter of seconds).

Edit: not sure why the pic is sideways, there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. If anyone knows what i did wrong or how to fix it, please lmk.

Lemmy.world link goes to a 404 error.

Try going into settings and check the box that says "show viewed posts" or something along those lines; they should become visible to you again.

Edit: it's "Show Read Posts". I was having a similar issue and that fixed it.

I agree with everything you said here, but just came by to say, "Kraken in the bathtub" is one of my favorite new idioms.

I got these for my fiancee for it anniversary last year. Made from lab created opals. So pretty.

I would err on the side of caution and send this back. You'll have to go without hot water for a few days, but it's better than installing this just find it didn't work, or worse blow your house up.
