I love GOG. If they release a game i play often, i rebuy it on that platform. I find game clients just annoying, especially ea app (stop popping up everytime i quit a game dammit). So if i can play without it, i go for it.

I discovered the kagi search engine last week and it's so much better. No ads. I can move favored sites up or pin them in the search results.

That road looks way too neat for Belgium.

I've only entered reddit this week when i was looking something up on search engines, but its hard to go around the content they've build up over the past 15 or so years. And i mostly did this on desktop where i can block all those filthy ads.

For my day to day, i've completely migrated to lemmy. I've enjoyed seeing it grow these past few days and I hope it continues to do so.

It says "that comment is missing" for me.

At this point I'm cheering for reddit to keep going as they are so the migration keeps on going too.

One of the things reddit has over its alternatives is the vast amount of content it already gathered over the years. Sharing that content here might give people more consideration to join. Also i get why people frown upon reposts, seeing the same over and over again. But there are always people who haven't seen it. So under the right circumstances i encourage reposts, especially with useful posts.
