I have misiphonia actually lol. I can't eat at restaurants because the sound of metal cutlery scraping together or scraping on people's teeth causes me physical pain and makes my own teeth "itch" for lack of a better word. It really sucks but I don't go around shaming people for eating in a way that's normal for them either.

You might as well just not vote at all because not a single president will ever keep every campaign promise they make. Ever. You don't have to like it but that's reality and the only reason to be mad about it for one specific candidate over another is personal bias.

Obviously everyone should vote but unless you're new to all of this you should already know to pick your battles. If campaign promises weren't kept you should research it and know why before you complain about it.

Nah, manicured lawns can't coexist with healthy ecosystems. They're hugely wasteful in general. There are alternatives that are equally nice to run on like clover and many areas have their own soft ground cover that's native. The best thing about native plants is that they're almost always lower maintenance. It just doesn't make sense to keep wasting water and other resources on lawns imo.

I recently let my garden grow wild and it's crazy how many flowers came up on their own. Now I've got all kinds of little critters and birds I hardly ever see elsewhere. The only thing I pull are goat head weeds because fuck those things lmao

Right now the sentiment on TikTok is very strongly anti Isreal and outrage over the current genocide. I don't know why you just assume they're all over there praising China or whatever. China doesn't come up there any more than here or other social media. China has their own version of the app where I assume their own censorship is applied.

You're just using their suffering to feel superior when you probably haven't even thought about them in who knows how long before now. You can search for them in TikTok and there are plenty of videos criticizing China about it.
