Is this the team they moved it to, or the team they moved it from?

I tend to put 2 - 3 days worth of stuff in the fridge, then freeze the rest (if it's something reheatable)

I then eat something else from the freezer for the rest of the week so I don't eat the same thing for a whole week.

You will lose people that don't check Lemmy regularly and don't see the migration post (and don't visit the community directly).

I assume you will lock the existing community to force the move and stop double posting?

For a real answer:

A manager can control what is done under them, but if one of their teams/members needs something done by another team they have no control.

Their manager might control the manager of the other team though, so the decision goes up the line until it hits someone who has both sides of a problem under them and can make the decisions on priorities/cost etc of the requested action.

In small companies, this may just be one or two layers, but in bigger companies it becomes a disfunctional disaster.

Would they not have had to give access to location services for this to happen though? Google is very good at giving me a "only while using this app" option for this kind of stuff now.

Oh shit, their doing cut and cover? That's crazy!

The druids are right!

Edit: not sure this is correct? https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/a303-stonehenge/about-the-scheme/ indicates twin bore

Even reading the article, I'm not clear - when they say dumping, do they mean that these are used units that they are effectively recycling by reselling to other countries (good?) Or companies deliberately building piles of bad units that don't meet local standards to export (bad)?

I guess not strictly news - but with all of the vitriol I have seen in discussions on the Israel situation, that have boiled down to arguments over wording, I feel that this take from the BBC is worthy of some discussion.

Mods, feel free to remove if this is not newsy enough.

The article says it ran out of fuel

FOM approval will either include the upfront joining fee or the agreement of all the teams, correct?

Or do the teams have a veto regardless?

You don't need your own server/instance to start a community. Find an server/instance and start your community. As long as you don't break instance rules the admins shouldn't mess with you.
