Play however you enjoy it. Personally I want a good difficulty increasing mod because even on tactician it’s possible to ignore all the tools at your disposal other than healing potions.
That’s been a problem with climate change in the UK where air conditioning doesn’t really exist but we are starting to experience warmer weather than the houses were built for.
I’ve got the same specs as yourself and you should have been getting more than 30-40 fps.
By the end of Act II I’ve finally been able to drop this looting habit. I’ve already got about 30k gold that I never spend so I probably don’t need to loot everything in sight anymore.
My main is a polearm master half-orc and I’ve been loving the extra reach and bonus action hit. I’ve slapped two items on him that set intelligence and dexterity to fixed values which has countered my two dump stats. Recently I found an invisible glaive which gives advantage in combat until you miss a strike. It’s fantastic.
I’ve also been really enjoying Wyll with pact of the blade. Having the ability to just eldritch blast from a distant or get into melee range is great. My only issue is I normally forget to bind his weapon after a long rest and I’m using a short sword he isn’t normally proficient with.
I’m on Act II in balanced difficulty and haven’t suffered a total party wipe yet. I also don’t use any of the cheese bombs, arrows or poisons but I have no issue with those being an option in the game.
If you’re not using Bless or gaining advantage in combat you’ll have a harder time.
Unfortunately I missed it completely. While exploring Grymforge I accidentally took the boat back to the underdark beach and by the time I returned and fully explored the rest of Grymforge before going to meet Nere he was already dead. I didn’t realise it was on a timer.
After doing the forge stuff I then just went the mountain pass route instead to genocide the githyanki.
I would love if my partner was into videogames like myself but she’s not. However it does mean the kids have at least one parent present this week while I play BG3 in my every waking moment around work.
I think the only way to play the game is solo as it would be a nightmare trying to coordinate multiplayer for such a long game.
It’s a turn-based combat game which isn’t for everyone so if you hate those mechanics then this game isn’t for you.
I’m going to give a half-orc vengeance paladin a go with polearm mastery. For party members I think I’ll go with Shadowheart, Wyll and Gale but I might replace one of the spellcasters later on with Minsc.
That is a dildo holding the cat up, right?
The fact is DLSS is really good and weird naming convention aside DLSS 3.5 (which works on all RTX cards, unlike DLSS 3) looks fantastic.
I bought my last two cards solely for DLSS support and unless AMD steps up my next card will likely be Nvidia as well.
