Thank you for actually answering my question instead of telling me talking about sucidie is bad. I really do too, but if it doesn't work out, I really hope Dignitas won't turn me away.
Thank you, appreciate it. Honestly it's not my first choice of action, but I have tried many things and considered many different options but unfortunately for me I'm so disabled this may be the only option I have if I don't want to end up homeless and as a consequence suffer some things that would be worse than death
It really is systematic. At least that's how the system in Australia is. I have really tried to find accommodations for me but because of bureaucracy or what not, whether it's governmental or NFP support... There is no support for me. I'm deemed not disabled enough. Even going to the doctors and telling them about what I'm going through, they all just keep telling me I need to work harder. It's all because I don't act disabled enough for them.
If I was just given the right accommodations.. I wouldn't need to rely on the government or Nfps for help. I really want to work and live independently. But it's not possible in this current society. I really wish I could immigrate to maybe somewhere in the Nordic regions because I might actually be given the right accommodations there... But at last there's too much bureaucracy around it.. it's not possible for me.
Thank you for understanding. It really is the last resort if I can't have the money to support myself. But I read about this woman here who was granted euthanasia because of ASD. But there's nothing to say how she managed to get it approved, that's why I'm asking around to see if anybody knows how I can go about with it if I really aren't able to live independently.
Here's the article

I don't have my own vehicle. I also really struggle with noise of traffic/ construction etc. So I've gone somewhere quiet now to try and find work online. But I struggle so badly with trying to sit down and set up my portfolio/ doing my resume, I don't think it's possible. Last year, when I met a guy and he gave me a one day job, I was able to get straight into it and hyper focus on it, but it's near impossible for me to sit down to do the things I need to do to get a job- ie apply for work, write cover letters etc.
If I were able to, it would be easier to find a cleaning/ hospitality job of some sort but even though I've worked in that field in the past, im so burnout now that this kind of work would overwhelm me too much right now.
Hmm have you got a link to the video? It would be nice if I can ask this guy how he did it. I really want to move to somewhere like Norway because I heard the Nordic countries have better work -life balance, gender equality and disability support systems. But after chatting to a friend from there today, I think it's too risky, I think I might run out of money there before I can find a job/ become a citizen who could get support.
Thank you, I keep doing that, but everytime it comes to trying to find work or doing small admin tasks at immigration office etc, I struggle really badly. But my money will not last me forever, I will run out maybe in a few months... Depending on how I spent it. Right now, things are bearable even if everytime I find work or do admin I want to die, but I still have the money to do things that make it a bit better. Once I run out of money, I won't have a choice anymore, therefore I need to plan in advance. Unfortunately, death is my only option if I can't sustain myself.
Thank you but if I had to choose, I rather die than be homeless. There's nothing wrong with homeless people and lots of them are great people but I know if I was homeless I'd really suffer from overwhelm and likely open myself up to rape/ torture so I prefer to die. Is that enough reason for a doctor to allow euthanasia? Because otherwise I will have to do it myself and that's really scary.
In my home country, Australia, I've been to non-profit organisations to ask for help with admin work you need to do to be able to receive government money, which I really struggle with to the point I want to commit suicide. But after helping me once they said they could not help me again, and can only help me find housing. But I was already living in my car at that point and didn't need them to help me with that.
Then after a suicide attempt in Australia, the next day, I was arrested based on false accusations someone else made but even though they weren't true, I still had to go to court etc and almost died in the process because it was so overwhelming.
So no, unfortunately there is no such thing as support in my home country, my only option is to die when I run out of money unless I want to go through more torture.
If you haven't been in this situation before that's really great. But right now I have no options for work and having no way to support myself for me personally means life will become too difficult and overwhelming. If you don't have anything helpful to comment, you don't have to say anything.
Also just to say, please don't send me links to help with suicidal thoughts, I have been to therapy while I could still afford it but it does not solve the problem of not being able to work. I know lots of people are homeless but I don't think I could do it myself. I am a woman and conventionally attractive and hence will very likely get raped etc if I was homeless, so I prefer to qualify for euthanasia thanks.
Thank you but that's not helpful. I have been to therapy and it has not helped me to find a job. I will run out of money and when that happens I will have to kill myself. I know there's lots of brave homeless people but I will not be able to do it.
Hospitality, cleaning jobs would be the easiest jobs to find . I've worked in these fields before and while I was able to do them back then, I don't have the capacity to work these jobs anymore. I'm too burnout.
