Yep! Would love to see FARTs used in its place!
Why are we minding transphobes exactly? They are inconsiderate and disrespectful most of the time, and they don't really want to listen to any arguments that dont confirm their bias.
I've moded mine, it was fairly easy and works amazing! Havent had any issues with image distortion. Most kits the screen is the same ration so shouldnt be an issue
I understand your concerns, but since it is an official EU platform and we have the GDPR, I don't think there's much cause for concern. Even if it uses your countries platform to verify your identity, I don't think they would be able to see which petition was signed just that you verified your identity on the platform as a whole.
In any case hope you stay safe! Yeah I'm intending on sharing it once a month till then!
Unsure! Lets hope we can rally enough signatures! But we still have some time to share and try and gather as many as we can!
If we do in Belgium that's awesome and I wasn't aware. However in other smaller countries I believe they are still lagging behind. But yeah would be great to have them EU wide and ensure that governments can't backtrack on them.
I know! I'm sharing everywhere I can and with everyone I think might care!
I don't think ~~he's~~ they're assuming anything ~~he's~~ they're just using the term binary as a set/group that includes the traditional man and woman genders. Sure maybe no one uses it to describe themselves but that doesn't mean that the word isn't useful to refer to the "traditional" genders, which he uses to contrast with non-binary.
Your conclusion is exactly what the Author tries to get at, that non-binary spectrum is diverse in many aspects.
Slow and not as productive as I would have liked and need to be! But overall can't complain tbh!
Please consider sharing across other communities that you think this might interest and any entourage you feel might be sensible to this issue!
These are tough calls to make. On the one hand I applaud the step taken to protect the community hosted by this instance, on the other I also find that simply cuting ties and conversation only furthers the divide.
Sure we should not have to defend the validity of our existence, and also realise that most hate leaves little place for heathy discussions. But in avoiding their echo chambers I find we quiet ours too, we renounce our visibility for our comfort and theirs.
I guess I wish there were other ways to warn users about potentially triggering instances rather than outright defederating, but I do understand your main motives.
