This is a cool prompt, but really tricky.

When I was young, I always wanted to be an author. I wrote my own stories, but they were basically my guesses of what Harry Potter was like, before I actually read them. After that, writing a story has always felt so daunting. But I've eventually made some headway, when I chose to start writing again on 1 June. It's the furthest I've got in years - I actually know where my story is going, and who the characters are.

Yeah. I'm not willing to use the official Reddit app. I tried for a day, and it was terrible. Using Lemmy with Jerboa feels natural, because the interface is very similar to the app I used for Reddit - Boost. There are communities I will miss, but it's nice to actually see the fediverse start to grow, and participate in it. It's hard to change from being a lurker to actually commenting, but the community feels more tight-knit.

I haven't been here for too long, but it's not bad. I actually like that the community is not too big. It feels satisfying to actually be able to get to the end of the comments. Still learning the ropes, though.

Yeah, I noticed something similar. And occasionally it seems like instances disappear from it. I noticed that beehaw communities showed up a few days ago, but they didn't today.
