I need to get myself a ThinkPad...
Makes sense. I'm not sure where you are, but I hope you stay as safe <3
Home Kong (if I'm not mistaken about where this is) is truly a beautiful place. Earlier in my life I heavily considered talking a job out there, but probably wouldn't nowadays. Would still love to visit though :)
Once tried to kill myself because I thought I was in a dream and had to get out. Luckily a friend was there to stop me. Point is, everyone's experience is different, and PLEASE be careful with mind altering drugs. Weed is proven much safer than others, but posts like this do not represent a universal experience.
Soo... Lots learned during the lecture? ;P
Seriously though, thanks for sharing this with such detail. I'm sure it will help someone avoid this problem.
On another note, I'm actually curious how the touch bar works in Linux? Do you get function keys? Is there a driver for it?
When I'm curious about a language, I usually first build some implementation of a perceptron or basic neural network, as well as a (usually very bad) text editor.
I feel like once I have those behind me, I've got some fundamentals and can dive deeper into what makes the specific language actually special :)
This is a very good point. It makes me a bit uneasy, even though it is still better than driverless cars. Aside from this, I also have mixed feelings about the fact that every pound being put into development and purchasing of these busses could have been put into the expansion of existing routes...
And it's not even something that would drastically improve my experience if it was fully successful. Busses are already one of the safest modes, being safer than trains in several countries. Maybe I've missed something and someone can correct me, but this feels like throwing money at technology for technology's sake.
I'm nervous about where this will head. There is just so much potential for abuse, from hackers that just want money to state actors to oppressive regimes. Yes the data is local, but the way it's summarized, pre-classified and apparently nowhere near adequately filtered opens so many potential vectors. And Microsoft seem still adamant about pushing this :/
Someone more versed in political science than I can correct me here, but I'm pretty sure direct democracy and true democracy would be synonyms. But that doesn't mean there wouldn't still be a need to fight back against antidemocratic forces. In any system where the laws can change, so too can the holders of power, and people are very capable of voting against their self interest. Complacency is, unfortunately, never an option.
Ty so much. I've already made some progress :) Hope yours goes well
I just woke up from this alarm... I feel called out
I know this is a shit posting community but please don't drive high :(
