You would have to be completely out of your mind to voluntarily add this app to your device. And I’m sitting here at work talking about it and my religious co worker just informed me that he has a group of friends that use this app. WTF?!
Great article thank you for the read.
Refugee here, Lemmy feels like Reddit from 16 years ago. This is so much better than whatever Reddit has become over the last several years. Fuck Reddit.
A site that receives its content for free and was solely created to link content from all over the web is upset that apps are linked to their API for free. Fuck Reddit. Can’t you see? The value isn’t in Reddit, the value is in the consumer. Forget about 48 hours. Reddit is lost for good. Move on.
I deleted every comment, every upvote and every post I ever made on Reddit. Fuck /u/spez, fuck Reddit.
LMFAO! I broke the law so you have to pay me! This fucking carbuncle.
Fuck Nintendo
“I have a message tonight for Merrick Garland and Jack Smith and Joe Biden — and the guys back there in the fake news media, you should listen up as well, this one is for you,” Ms. Lake said. “If you want to get to President Trump, you are going to have go through me, and you are going to have to go through 75 million Americans just like me. And I’m going to tell you, most of us are card-carrying members of the N.R.A.” The crowd cheered.
Ms. Lake added: “That’s not a threat, that’s a public service announcement.”
An experience like Apollo would be great but I’ll take what we have. It feels cozier.
Remember the Voat migration? Except this time it looks like it’s all nice people leaving Reddit. Which of course means if enough sane and nice people leave reddit, what will be left? Just bots talking to bots and a bunch of angry people.
They’ve lost me for good. Lemmy is a huge learning curve but I’m here for it. It reminds me of an early Reddit right around the Digg era. I’m excited.
Towards the end browsing Reddit just made me angry instead of providing entertainment. Like you mention, what really got under my skin were all the ads disguised as genuine posts, and then all the bots asking for a place to purchase the item advertised.
Do you remember a time where news would break on Reddit and the it would be two or three hours later you would see cable news stations pick it up? It hasn’t happened on Reddit for a very long time. Happened to me yesterday here on Lemmy for the first time. That was a nice feeling. It reminded me of how good reddit once was and how bad it is today. But more importantly, it showed me that Lemmy isn’t just a reddit replacement, it’s looks like it’s the future of the internet.
Anyways, I guess I don’t really have a point, just needed an excuse to shit on reddit again. Fuck reddit.
