$659? Is it a week long concert with hotel and food included?

Let's ask the Supreme Court what do they think.

...

They're on a private plane with a billionaire. Will get back to us later.

I generally don't care about going to the office, it's not a problem, but what my company did was to hire 3x as many people as before the pandemic and simply move to hot desk system instead of expanding the office. So now we have more people but less desks and less parking spots. We have to use some app to make reservations and it's just a constant struggle to book a desk so that I can sit next to guy I don't know talking on a video call all day. What's the fucking point?

I, for one, have no idea who MrBeast is. Wish I also didn't know who Must was.

Not to argue about a joke but Linux was 'better' because it was free, not because it was technically better. By the time it got actually better than UNIX tons of people have worked on it, not just couple of drunk guys. I think someone just misread what the article says and missed the 'not' in 'need not be expensive'. But if people find it funny it's cool, it's not for me to judge anyone's sense of humour.

As a EV owner I don't worry about range that much but I'm constantly infuriated by the shitty charging experience. Charging at home is great but road trips are a constant pain in the ass. Let's face it, most people are not interested in switching to EV at all and will find an excuse until ICE cars are banned (I'm looking at you people with two family cars and private garage). You want to convince the people actually thinking about it? Make charging work.

They didn't do it because productivity. They did it because real estate prices. Also they like to watch people work.

You're right. I will start a new distro that focuses on the the things that matter.

You're soooo behind the schedule. That was the anti-EV talking point 5 years ago. You were supposed to move to 'but did they factor in the battery production??' (which they do) and now use one of 'but is the grid ready for so many EV?' or 'there are no EVs below $30.000'!!. You're welcome.

I would like to have the imagination that would let me come up with schemes like that. It would never occur to me to make money off of gun violence. American capitalist are something else...
