I'm never sure if Castro is dead or not. I was sure for very long time that he died already but it would turn out that he's still there. I also don't remember any events specifically related to his death. His brother (?) took over and he kind of fizzled out before he died. Or maybe he's still there? I'm never quite sure. I mean, it's 2024 now, he's definitely dead. Or is he?
- Invent a new name for an undesirable condition
- People start using this name as an insult
- Get offended that an insult is used to refer to people with said condition
- Go back to 1
There's so many issues with all the smart/IOT devices that it's just not worth getting into. Few if any manufacturers offer proper, open integrations and when it comes to home appliance there are more important features than that. Just get up to turn off your AC, that's still the best solution.
"I heard you like data collection so we put data collecting email app in your data collecting OS so we can collect data about our data collection"
This guy doesn't even have any savings or investments. How is he supposed to organize the spendings of an entire country?
So can we now stop embedding Twits in articles instead of simply including the pictures?
I'm a 40 year old man.
He wishes there was such an easy fix for two planes flying into skyscrapers.
I don't think any of this matters. It's the customers that are not happy. Raise the prices of food to include the extra costs. Waiters in nice restaurants would obviously make more than minimum wage. Waiter in not so nice places probably as well. If waiters make more money because they're avoiding taxes then that ends, sorry. I don't think any one will argue that the only way to have restaurants is to let waiters avoid taxes.
That's interesting but I don't think Google has a legal obligation to update all the roads in the world in a timely manner. Maybe if you could prove that they promote Google Maps as a '100% accurate, always up to date mapping solution' you could argue false advertising but I'm pretty sure they don't claim that. I'm pretty sure that instead they tell users not to trust the indications blindly and to always pay attention to the road.
It's actually pretty big problem in Spain. I have to keep blocking spam numbers. I think it's the same in Poland. EU is not regulating this, it's up to individual governments and some are not handling it well.
I guess they didn't see John Oliver's episode about this.
