It should have been clear 7 years ago that Europe can't rely on US any more. Hoping US will become a rational partner again and dragging their feet on real action is probably equal part inertia and corruption. Hopefully they will wake up sooner than they did with Russia and energy independence.

My guess is that they will what any other city council would do. I don't think being all-female will suddenly change their politics. While it's an interesting fact I would say that expecting all-female council to govern differently than other councils is a little bit sexist.

Corporations are making more money as everyone suffers? Everything according to the plan then.

I mean it's pretty common knowledge that China is the biggest rare earth metals producer in the world. It's also well known that the batteries they produces are pretty bad for environment. And it's also known that Chinese EVs are still better for climate change than oil. It's all been covered many many times. Are you following any news?

Once at a railway station in Krakow some polish guy asked me if I would like to cum in his mouth.

InstaPot. It makes a lot of things so much easier to cook. Rice, lentils, potatoes, eggs... I use it mostly for that. No need to stand there stirring, looking at the clock. Fire and forget and always perfectly cooked.

For me it was while hiking. It got dark but I wanted to find some nice camping spot so just kept walking. At one point the path got really narrow and pitch black on both sides but I never saw anything remotely dangerous in those mountains so I just kept walking. After some time it got a bit more vertical but I still couldn't see anything dangerous so I just kept traversing it. Then one hold broke off and I fell backwards, landed on a small ledge half a meter lower and just stopped. I decided it's getting silly so I just found small flat surface and slept there. In the morning I saw were I was and the slope where I almost fell had like 50 meters and was almost vertical. I really don't know but I think if I didn't stick the first small fall I wouldn't be able to stop until the very bottom. 50 m rolling down a rocky hill, alone, in the middle of no where. Yeah, I would probably be dead. So it was couple centimeters really.

Later I learned that this spot is pretty well known: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zGhS3-KVuo

Can we please stop this nonsense already? With Linux on desktop we had two goals:

  • hardware support
  • software support

We achieved both goals. Since probably 20 years ago I've been using Linux exclusively both at work and at home. All my hardware works, all my software works. Why would I care if Linux gets to 20%, 80% or 100% market share? At this point if some companies or game developers don't support Linux it's their loss, I will find an alternative. And if some users is still using Windows it's also their loss. I feel sorry for them but I stopped encouraging people to use Linux years ago. We're good, our feature is secured, we don't need to push for more users anymore.
