I personally just mod some high damage weapons with cold+whatever they are weak to, the cold procs are normally enough to keep the demo from reaching the conduit. This has as additional bonus that I can take whatever frame I want, I am not bound to certain abilities for slowing or locking down.

That's fine, I generally just run with prime warframe colors where I replace the light colors with black. The only thing I really spend time on is my pimp vauban look, which is basically just the color purple haha.
