Yeah, we must keep forking or invention as a last resort to prevent fragmentation in the community.

Damn, this subreddit will surely meet it's demise

Having no mod is better than having a bad one

Agreed. The situation there is absolutely unbelievable for me. Too much nonesense happening.

There is more to this than what meets the eye...

We're probably the early adopters But still, that's like living in the future

It's cool and exciting

Oh and don't forget the AI replacing all of our jobs and skynet causing the extinction of mankind.

[-] D3F4U1T_ARS@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

Agreed.

For me it wasn't about fear. I was just too lazy to make an account XD

But yeah, participating is more fun than watching for sure.

Ayyyy Elon, so we're going for full chaos??

Lemme grab my popcorn before the change starts a nuclear reaction.

Surely a sight to behold. Lol

Was a total lurker in reddit. No accounts, nothing. Just browsing the subreddits.

But I joined lemmy just to help the cause. And put up a good fight.

Yeah. I'm seeing myself using it more and more.

I like it too.

But the app really needs some improvement (I know it's still in alpha, but the typing glitches make it really annoying to type)

But so far it's been good and I see good potential in it.

Yeah I feel the same too. And I think decentralization is the only way to web3.

Distributed networks are very very complex to make. But decentralized networks have the simplicity and features of centralized networks with the addition of freedom that distributed networks give.

The best of both worlds really.

Yeah, at this point. All these big tech companies are succumbing to their greed.

Good that FOSS are being made to be the shelter for this wasteland that is big tech.
