Depends on what kind of joke they're making. Key & Peele had a lot of great comedy about Obama. SNL's Jim Carey Biden impression was great. But conservatives are almost never funny, generally their "comedy" is about bullying someone for a perceived social transgression or physical/mental flaw.
Potatoes are amazing. They grow easily in a wide variety of soil and produce food which has every nutrient we need except for a complete protein. And, they're a vegetable, so you can tell someone you're eating your vegetables and then go to McDonald's for some frenchy fries

There's no practical difference, just window dressing. They both cheer on oppression and pain for those suffering under Republicans.
And don't even get me started on communists. Left and right authoritarians, I've gotten death threats from both of them. Whether it's some leftist telling me I would "get the wall" when the Revolution comes or some fucking Republican telling me that the US was only for Christians and that they'll go after "traitors" soon, you get to the same fucking place at the end of the day. The only real difference is that there's far more Republicans, and they're far more organized than left authoritarians.
Republicans are awful people. Not every Democrat or leftist is a good person - just look at Lemmygrad and Hexbear, or turds like Anthony Weiner. But every Republican has chosen to support a party which revolves around anger and bullying those who are vulnerable.
American conservatism is distilled cruelty.

Part of being a foster parent is agreeing to respect the child's situation, religious views, sexual orientation, etc. If I tell the state that I'm not going to take a kid to church if they're religious, I'm not getting approved. If I tell the state I'm going to teach potentially gay children that being gay is wrong, I'm not getting approved.
Launching rockets at civilians isn't glorious whether you're Russian or Palestinian.
