Nah, I haven't played ESO as part of the guild in over a month. I still get on and do some stuff, but it's solo stuff or just with a group who linked up. Unless you're joining an end-game guild, I'd say the function is more social than content. T&L maybe a little different, but the point of the big guilds is that you can join, and you have a group of "vetted" players you fit in with to play when you want to. It is what you make of it, y'know?

I would avoid zone-wide chats. They end up in pissing contests about who's cooler, edgier, better, etc. Local or proxy chat let's you talk to a party directly in front of you, like you are actually addressing the person instead of the name in a chat box.

As to what you should say, say the first thing that comes to mind, short of "want to buy GF". Find similar minded people. Additionally, join guilds or discords. Check the game sub for guild finder stuff, join medium sized guilds that are doing content you like. Be prepared to leave if you don't feel like you fit or it doesn't mesh well. The beauty of MMOs is they generally have a decent sized player base, you'll find community somewhere. They just rarely come find you.

What I'd say regarding anxiety....everyone has usually been where you are. On ESO, I help run a 1k+ person guild, where most groups are doing hard mode content or trifecta content (speed run, hard mode, no deaths). I don't want to do the horribly sweaty stuff, but I've done some hard modes and such. Decent parse numbers are 110-120k just about, and I hit that. But when I started, I was at like...50k. I joined a group, talked to people, and bit the bullet and let people critique my gameplay. More often than not, if you are asking for help, people will give it and help you along, and that's a big reason why we grew. We encouraged people to post parses, to show gameplay, so that it could be reviewed and advice given. It wasn't public, but a fair few of us could see it and give pointers and suggestions.

Everyone starts somewhere. Just take the thoughts out of your head and put it in the chat box, and see who vibes with you!

Yeah. There aren't any REAL issues with the current calendar. Months aren't equal, we have leap year. But it doesn't break anything, it's just annoyances you live with.

How long until he gets replaced and Trump releases the info to burn the bridge entirely and install an even worse person?

As many others have said, you don't. That may be part of the devisive-ness experienced here currently, but when one side is stating that the military should be used on dissenters, and the other side needs slaughtered, and they're talking about deporting detractors currently in govt, it's addition by subtraction. Should my side win, I don't expect any kind of persecution of people I don't agree with. Should the other side win, they are functionally demanding it.

"You won't have to vote anymore" is an insane statement from a democratic candidate. "We'll fix it so good, you won't have to vote". And people are on the fence. It's disgusting. Choose a fucking side and vote it.

This is the stupid part. I left and didn't go back. I still end up there searching the odd problem online, but I don't necessarily need it. The one sub I modded, when I was last checking, has had quite a bit of spam and self-promotion "watch my new YouTube video" shit going on. I wasn't the only one doing anything on the team, as it was like 30k+ members, but it was alow traffic sub. But they don't do the weekly discussion threads, the repost bots were rampant.

All to make more money. I don't know why people stayed. All that huffing and puffing, just to cower and fold.

This is separate from the Stalions sign-stealing scheme and instead centers on inappropriate recruit contact during the pandemic.

Michigan really putting the future of Missouri's program at-risk with these violations...

People have cheated in the samples and req slips and such and ruined progression for others. It's not the same as competition cheating, but the "point" of the game is the grind, and some lost out on it. I think AH rolled back most of the effected accounts though, but it's a little deeper than just no PvP = cheats sorta fine

We had 3 of us on level 7 bots dropping them and we maybe hit 80? Granted, we aren't elite with placement, but when the enemies is engulfed in the fireball and then they walk through it, something is up. I think there are issues with elevation too, if they are too low or too high, it just won't hit, and Marfark is too hilly to be consistent.

For as much flack as the game is getting because of Sony, it's been really easy to like Arrowhead in general. Not everyone will be happy with changes to any game, but they're decently open with what they're doing and the intent behind it, and are willing to say when they may have introduced a bug and revert changes back.

Now if only Sony would stop being Sony...

This sucks, cause Arrowhead is gonna catch some unneeded flak for it, but it's almost purely a Sony plot for data, and Arrowhead and the players are the ones who lose.

Crazy that was what disqualified a candidate in the 2000s and here we are now.

Unsurprising. Bans gender-affirming care but he wears heels to help him feel more masculine. Only thing he hasn't done is wear a cowboy hat (that's I've seen).
