One thing I can never make sense of is why the fuck people give these people money? What have they done that makes people think they have anything to offer the world by doing what they're doing? Any time anything is mentioned about anything anybody in that group has ever touched, work-wise, it sounds like they did some marketing campaign or something? It's really annoying because SEARCH IS REALLY GOOD ALREADY and "AI searching" is adding a bad, buggy frontend over either the already good search or a worse version of search (vector DB searches).
