My big issue with starter packs was that I'd follow them, and they'd have some random content creator in it that was tangentially related to the starter pack. Great, that's fine. I don't need the same 12 people giving me news and updates, etc.

The problem was that they would inevitably be on my feed, constantly talking about other stuff I am not interested in, and hardly ever discussing the starter pack subject. Which again, is fine. But I don't want that, I wanted the starter pack subject matter, and get unrelated content. So I just unfollowed all the starter packs.

My electric bill for the last few months has been almost $200.

I live in an under 400 sqft apartment that I keep under 68 degrees all year (it's also like 70% basement only a portion of one wall and the entrance is not beneath ground) It increased from maybe $100 last year to almost $200 during this time. Energy costs here are absolutely insane.

Noted, my costs in summer are markedly less. Around $70-90. But the winter costs went up dramatically.

Lmao it was surreal. The next viewing was there early in the driveway waiting to go in, and they heard a like crashing noise, then the people inside quickly left, and made it a point to say "yeah the counter was already broken" and just dipped lmao. The 2nd groups realtor told ours, because obviously why wouldn't they lol

Lol the shit hole state part was all the damning evidence I needed.

Yeah, it just isn't worth it. Selling is, all things considered, pretty painless, especially if you have no work needed. Just sit and listen to offers, and try to determine which ones are real people vs private equity if you want. Although when I sold mine, we had people literally break our counter during a viewing? Lmao so that kinda sucked but it was a minor inconvenience.

I'm assuming your state based on the dubvee lol, but I wouldn't trust a damn thing about them. You'd lose more money to them than you'd pay to a realtor after a successful sale. The market is weird rn, so idk if it's still solidly a sellers market, but you'd still likely come out way ahead going through a realtor. It honestly is not a bad process, it just sucks because if your house won't pass inspection or appraisal, it's a headache to get stuff fixed.

Deegan wraps up 250 West, in a move everyone saw coming. I'm not a fan, but no denying the talent. Kinda sad Davies didn't try to stay in front but it's a no-win situation. He races Deegan and potentially gets taken out, loses points. He lets Deegan by, gets 2nd, and still puts points between him and his competitors in the East.

Tomac again looks not right. Something with him or the bike has changed. Kenny repeats, which is awesome, JCoop having his late season surge. 3 dudes within 5 points, hopefully everyone stays healthy. We might have a good 450 championship this year indoors, and I'm amped.

It's a double edged sword, because it can be iffy with competitive games, but for those of us not playing comp....it'd be nice to have lol. Cheaters gonna cheat regardless.

I've wanted to go back and play Halo: MCC campaigns again, but for whatever reason, MCC doesnt allow dual-input. I have an Azeron I use cause of arthritis, which means I can't use it, because I have a full second delay between a mouse input and the Azeron input. I could just use a controller, but like...I don't wanna. Lol.

Maybe I'll keep messing with it, see if I can figure it out next weekend. You have inspired me. Also, always love seeing these!

Yeah it's a whole thing. The learning curve is so steep with Linux on this kinda thing, cause you can't really just play with settings like you can on Windows. Like I just got Skyrim Nolvus running on it, and it took me, legitimately, 20 hours and multiple reinstalled to get it to go. Idk what was even different when it worked lol, but it works and that's what matters!

I have been parroting how easy it is to just swap for a regular user, tho. Shit installed in like...12 minutes and does 90% of what anyone would ever want out of a PC, no issue.

That's what someone suggested to me and got me 90% of the way there. The remaining issue is that, on Windows, I had a virtual cable that took browser audio and added it to the discord input so I could individually control volume, and I cannot find a way to do that. I tried to do virtual cables prior to all of this, and just could not get it to work, frustratingly. But, I had equivalent amounts of issues just getting it set up on Windows in the first place, so I'm not super worried about it.

Now I just use Helvum to map the audio from Firefox into the Discord input, but I have to do it every time I log on, and skipping a song or pausing it kills it and I have to redo it in Helvum again. Minor inconvenience, I just don't have the will to fix it rn.
