I really wish the 70s and 80s aesthetic had lasted longer, particularly where automotives were concerned. Would love to have something like this today.
Hyundai might be trying to bring it back if their N Vision 74 concept is anything to go by.
The 70-73 Datsun Z..
What was the base model?
Picture #3 states "Original V/W Engine Door Latch" with "Engine Access Door" right below it, since the wheelbase looks too big for something like a Bug, I'm going to go with the 70s era VW Bus; the positioning of the driver in front of the wheels speaks to that fundamental chassis layout to me. $0.02 just guessing. Edit: in the color picture, it's hard to read but in the bottom right it says "Built on a VW chassis..." and it's not a Ghia, Thing or Bug so...
Pic was hard to read with the app I'm using I couldn't see that. Thank you for clarifying.
It is my new mission in life to own one of these.
Were they made in North America? Or is this a European car?
I kind of really love this and really really want one.
