We're all going to have to vote for Biden to save Kimmel's life.

Why would you post any possible incentive to vote for Trump?

Kimmel is intensely cringe. Its so annoying to see people clap like seals when this C-list comedian regurgitates eight-year-old SNL material.

Maybe he can team up with Stewart and do another Rally To Restore Sanity while he's up there.

Go to bed Donny. You’re tired.

Wait, are you citing another Trump tweet?

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Jimmy Kimmel threw a jab at Donald Trump while onstage at the Oscars less than an hour after the ex-president penned a scathing Truth Social post about the talkshow host.

On Sunday, just ahead of the last award of the night – best picture – getting doled out to Oppenheimer, Kimmel addressed the crowd at the 96th Academy Awards to share a review he had received about his performance as host of the ceremony.

His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be,” Kimmel read aloud from his phone.

“Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC ‘talent,’ George Slopanopoulos.

Kimmel then thanked Trump for watching before asking: “Isn’t it past your jail time?”

The crowd loudly hollered in response to the comment, which was a clear reference to the four criminal cases Trump has been charged in.

The original article contains 305 words, the summary contains 160 words. Saved 48%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

Convicted rapists' friends condemn convicted rapist.

[-] ormr@feddit.de 27 points 2 years ago

Guilt by association is no joke! Even friendship can be dangerous! Better to avoid any human contact to not draw suspicion.

[-] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 16 points 2 years ago

Way ahead of you.

[-] Hyperreality@kbin.social 6 points 2 years ago

Meh. I think not giving your friend a standing ovation or defending him after he's been convicted of rape is a good start.

[-] ormr@feddit.de 2 points 2 years ago

I wouldn't even know that shit because I couldn't care less about what friends of potential criminals think about their crimes. That shit is utterly unimportant. Why should I waste my life time for remembering such silly things?

[-] suction@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

should be pretty easy for right-wingers. forever alone.

Not suspected:

... a judge in New York, Lewis A Kaplan, said that when Carroll repeated her allegation that Trump raped her, her words were “substantially true”. Kaplan also set out in detail why it may be said that Trump raped Carroll. ... “The jury … was instructed that it could find that Mr Trump ‘raped’ Ms Carroll only if it found that he forcibly penetrated Ms Carroll’s vagina with his penis. “It could not find that he ‘raped’ her if it determined that Mr Trump forcibly penetrated Ms Carroll’s private sexual parts with his fingers – which commonly is considered ‘rape’ in other contexts – because the New York penal law definition of rape is limited to penile penetration.”

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/aug/07/donald-trump-rape-language-e-jean-carroll

Trump denied the allegations, prompting Carroll to sue him for defamation in November 2019 ... A verdict in May 2023 found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll ... Judge Kaplan clarified that the jury had found that Trump had raped Carroll according to the common definition of the word. .... In September 2023, Kaplan issued a partial summary judgment regarding Carroll I, finding Trump liable for defamation via his 2019 statements.

I do, bootlicker. Try again. Or don't. Doesn't seem to matter to the thinking world either way.

Folks, let me tell you something about this so-called comedian Jimmy Kimmel. He thinks he's so funny with his jokes and pranks, but he's just plain boring. And his jibes are weak, they don't even pack a punch! I've seen better comedy from my golden toilet seat.

And don't get me started on that Oscars thing. What kind of awards show is it where the host makes fun of someone who has done more for this country than he ever will? It's disgraceful, frankly.

But you know what? I won't let the little man bring me down. I'll keep doing what I do best – making America great again, one day at a time. And when I run for president in 2024, I'm going to make sure Jimmy Kimmel never cracks another joke about me again. Believe me, folks, it's gonna be huge.
