Nah, had to go back to China to see my family last month because of Lunar New Year but then realised lemmy.world is accessible without using any GFW bypassing methods while ml is blocked
The Great Firewall was a lot easier to get around than I expected. None of the typical VPN providers, even using obfuscated connections, worked at all, but setting up an OpenVPN server on my VPS worked brilliantly.
Yeah, smaller server with small transfer won’t really trigger GFW

A tankie is someone who defends/supports authoritarian or even totalitarian regimes who call themselves "socialist". The term originated from people supporting the 1956 invasion of Hungary by the Soviet Union.
