Im a founder of a sub on reddit and hopefully I can bring it here. Tried to create it but I keep getting check babe whatever I do. Is it possible to create a sub here?

You can always move to another instance (by making a new account on a different server) and make a community over there (this will also lessen the burden on lemmy.ml)

Thanks for the reply. Do all these instances eventually connect some how? Just don't want all these accounts all over the place

They are already connected. Users from other instances will see your community and will be able to interact with it. I support reducing traffic on lemmy.ml, meaning finding a less overloaded instance to "house" your community.

Lemmy.ml only allows admins to create communities. You can post a request for the new community to !community_requests@lemmy.ml
