I think maybe lemmy.ml is overwhelmed because it was bombarded with new users? Maybe contact your admin?

Agreed, something isn't syncing properly. I don't know how to fix it. If that is even within my ability. We have a user that made it over from blahaj fine.

I don't think so, from what I understand in order to create a private community it would have to be on an instance that has blocked all federation with all other instances, it just doesn't work that way, is what I've been told...

Also, it isn't marked NSFW or moderator only, so it should be visible to just about anyone.

If you know where I can find such a setting please, let me know, because I was in a pretty big private sub over on reddit that I would love to bring over.
