It's not like it would be good anyway.
Genuinely when was the last time you watched The Simpsons?
I'm not going to pretend that the current seasons are as good as the "golden age" that top out around season 10 or so, but to say the current seasons aren't worth watching is incorrect. The Simpsons continues to tell fun stories and funny jokes.
The Simpsons film was also great and I would be happy to see a sequel.
Avatar was 13 years apart. Tell me other big gaps!
14 year gap between The Incredibles and its sequel.
Godfather 3 -16 years
same for Alan Wake if u accept videogames too X3
30 years between beyond thunderdome and fury road
Spice and wolf at like 16 years lol
Tron had a sizable gap.
Same for TV shows. I forget the content of last season by the time the next season drops 1.5-2 years later.
It doesn't feel that long ago...
