Noticed json issues when uploading images recently. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

I suggest using a separate service for uploading your images and then link to your upload using the URL field before posting. Catbox works really well. The reason for the error is more than likely because the image is too large for what the instance has set.

This also keeps resources free on the instance you’re using.

If someone wants to include the image in the body of the post or in a comment use this syntax:

![](direct link to the imgae)

Direct link is a link that ends with .png or whatever image extension.

I'm back in the uploading business, thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion for catbox.moe. Initially I was using imgur due apple shortcuts integration and api for tasker. However after trying out catbox.moe I relized their api is FAR more simpler than imgur to use (no junk json). Also unlike imgur it doesn't redirect to an ad filled site on mobile 🙂

Yeah, had previously but its fixed. I think the server is overloaded so you may be facing the issue.

I have to put everything on Imgur and share the image URL. It's been weeks since I could post an image normally.

Yes, couldn't replace a community banner for a couple days because of Jason issues. Someone told me just try again the next day because that had worked for them. Worked for me too.
