I subbed to this community from another instance so there's at least one person. :P
I went out of my way to find interesting communities on different instances. It's the only way things stay healthy.

I'm from lemmy.world and I saw this :)
Hello from lemmy.zip 👋
Hello from INFOSEC.pub, You showed up in my feed
Good to see some anecdotal evidence that people have found us here. From an admin perspective, there's not much of a way to get insight in to this. As you pointed out, the ~300 subscribers is a good indication that there are users from other instances subscribed here. There's no easy way to tell how many other instances have at least one subscriber, but for every instance that does have at least one subscriber, posts from this community could show up in the "All" feed of anyone on the instance, so that has some potential to expand the reach somewhat as well.
Yeah, it seems that every is more or less working as intended, in terms of how Fediverse functions. If enough folks post cool stuff, subs and viewers will go up. Not that I'm worried about that. I joined this instance as an experiment in joining a tiny niche instance (and I also like cyberpunk stuff, ever since Nueromancer was a big influence on me back in the day), and I have accounts on a couple of the big ones as well.
hello from pawb.social!
I just noticed that e.g. the Cyberpunk community here has 306 subscribers (presumably federation-wide), so that gives me a bit of an estimate
Yeah, there are only ~100 users on this local instance so the ~300 subscribers are federation-wide. I've been tempted to post a message on !cyberpunk@lemmy.ml telling them about this community since the are almost 900 subscribers there but no one posts anything.
I think you might rather try in !cyberpunk2077@lemmy.ml and !cyberpunk2077@lemmy.world
EDIT: also maybe !cyberpunk_ttrpgs@dataterm.digital and since this community seems to be rather cyberpunk-general also !shadowrun@sh.itjust.works
A place for discussion of all things cyberpunk (not primarily Cyberpunk 2077)
