300-odd (and odd) Tory MPs.
I have a feeling it was nowhere near that unanimous.
He was the only candidate.
So, apathy.

Well they voted for Truss first
His constituency as an MP and the Tory party membership elected him leader.
Nope. Tory Party membership had a choice and elected Truss.
You could make an argument that he was tacitly elected by the Parliamentary Conservative Party but even this relies on an opt-out vote rather than an actual positive vote.
