I have also definitely seen some millennial-equivalent of boomer humor comics lately and they’re so cringe. I need to see if I can find any of them to add to this comment. It’s usually some variation of “my girlfriend dragged me to…” and “FML.”
The "beer" is probably intentionally written so at a quick glance you could mistake it for " bear".
It's rich for parents to complain about their child's phone use when the kid wouldn't even have a phone if the parents didn't buy it for them.
