Hi everyone!

I decided to create this sub as an alternative to other Path of Exile discussion boards on Lemmy, since most of them were pretty dead (not that another sub on another instance will fix that, but why not ok?) There was also a weirdly long propagation time for posts of mine to show up on the other instance's board, so I'm hoping that won't be as much of an issue with this one here.

For now I've created the sub icon (and I guess this welcome message too).

Any questions about the game are welcome! I'm not exactly an expert or anything but I've gotten through most non-uber endgame content and am part of a guild that is also very knowledgeable about the game.

Neat. I've been enjoying this league quite a bit but I swear the desire sensor on the league mechanic is far too strong.

I switched from the vivid ascendancy to the primal somewhere around level 78.. I'm level 83 and only have 4 points in the tree because it absolutely refuses to load me in an area with any decent amount of nameless creeps. Most maps I get maybe a handful, rarely I've gotten upwards of 40, and more often I get absolutely none.

I've been enjoying my backpack and charms, I feel like they're definitely the way to go unless you have a build that gets a lot of value from one of the other ascendancies. Not sure what you mean by the desire sensor though.

You could always do the Desecrate ~~bug~~ cheese strat for your second primal huntress quest. If you get a Desecrate gem and cast it inside the wildwood, the corpses it summons count towards the total. Takes a few minutes but not nearly as long as farming it by hand.

I think the issue also gets slightly better with increased pack size modifiers. I've been playing hexblast mines this league for the most part and I remember it taking a while, but I eventually finished the second quest without knowing what I needed to do because it was bugged and didn't show up. That said I think the general consensus is to expect upwards of 40 per map doing things the conventional way.

I was pretty bummed to see it too, and I'm hoping to do what I can to foster more of a community for it on Lemmy
